I have a 84 model F700 farm dump truck. Hydro boost blew a line and caught the thing on fire. Wiring is rough after the fire so I wanted to rig alternator circuit out side of wiring harness. I need some help. How do you tell if there is an internal or external voltage regulator ( I do not see one). Next there were 4 terminals I can tell the one going to the battery. Have not found markings for the switch and I think one is ground so that leaves me with a terminal. Sorry for rambling.
