Got a local family here that I have to admire the parents.
The dad started his own business back in the early 90's. He has worked hard and done well for himself. He and his wife have 4 kids. His one daughter is now a college student but doesn't want dad paying for everything. So she came up with a business plan for a summer oriented business. Her dad put up the money as a loan. This is her 2nd year and she's doing well with it! She and her dad make improvements to the building if needed at night after hours. The girls ethics, willingness to work and to take a reasonable risk reflects well on her parents. I had the opportunity to meet and to talk with her dad last evening and told him that I admired parents today who are turning out kids like his daughter.
