Thank goodness I bought a Case 830 Diesel in 1996 to drive our New Holland "36" six foot cut double chop forage harvester for our grass silage. Had to push it hard to use 2 gallons (imperial) per hour. Our son still has and uses it. On driving our NH 280 baler on hill country fuel was 3/4 to 1 gal per hour.
