Our renter's corn is tassled and putting on ears... daughter pointed out last evening, that the ears have silk showing. It's got to be 9-10 feet tall here - crazy tall. She and I are about 5 foot tall and I had her go stand in front of the corn and I swear it's nearly double her height!
We've not been dry, rather we were too wet all spring.
It does seem early for a lot of things... we've also been seeing crickets for about 3 weeks now (hate them), and they are definitely early!
