Most of the time you WILL NOT be inside that cab with it closed, either outside or windows or doors open. And if inside with closed up you would need air conditioning turned on and that draws in outside air from the exaust to cool. The reason you don't notice it on most tractors with the cab and air is that the exaust comes out above top of cab, if the exaust was where it could pull into cab then think how sick you could get. That is why following something on the road you get all the fumes.
