On one of those welded hydraulic cylinders on the combine header lift,how do you get the snap ring off so you can pull the ram out and put a kit in them? I had one start leaking like a sieve. I went to the salvage Friday and got another cylinder,so it isn't a major issue,but now I have that leaky one laying here. I can see the snap ring down through the threaded hose hole,but it's only a 3/8ths hose and I can only see one end of the snap ring at a time. The gap is so wide I have to turn it a little to see the other end. It must take a special pair of snap ring pliers to get it off. I sure don't have anything here that would do it.
