2.5 MPH or 5 MPH sprocket? We always drove 5 MPH. Dad said it has the high speed sprocket (s)? If you have been around the seeder in the past even if it is decades you will remember the tempo of the song the gears sing. If I remember right we used to spread 10 40" rows or somewhere around 33 feet. I can't tell you exactly how wide to open the slides but it seems like 1" initial setting for 1 1/2 bushels of oats per acre for a nurse crop depending on the weight of the oats.
