I have a jd 4230 with syncro trans, the other day i was raising my son up in my loader, so he could clean out his gutters. The ground around his house slops away from his house. When I went to move to a different location I found that my trans was stuck in park. Luckily I was far enough away from the house that I could lower the loader and use it to take the pressure off of the trans/park and then it came out easily. It always works fine/as it should, as long as I don't put it in park when on a hill. My question is, is this right? Or is their a secret to getting it out of park when parked on a hill?
