We have a lot of that here too. Not much will controll/kill it. Have used 'Rifle'(banvel) in corn,but that just slowed it up a bit till the corn out grew it.Round up works somewhat. Knapweed is kind of 'hairy' so it's hard to get the spray to the plant itself.Best thing I have found is to keep it cut back.That stuff is poisonous to horses.It is absorbed into the skin,so wear gloves if you pull it by hand. If not you will soon have a bad taste in your mouth.Not sure if it will make a human sick Good luck,you have an uphill battle......
