I find myself in a similar situation. I won a auction that was listed with free shipping. I believe after the seller went to the post office to ship the item and found out how much it was going to cost, he sent me a message requesting I pay the shipping. I replied that I bid on the auction in good faith and I paid promptly and that I expected him to complete the transaction as it was listed. He became somewhat of a smart-a$$ although in a very polite tone. He hasn't shipped the item, cancelled the sale, or returned the funds through Paypal. I have opened a "request" through ebay. Ebay will not take further action until 10/17/2016. At that point it will be 3 weeks since I paid for the item. I seems to me like the "contract" is far more binding on the buyer than it is on the seller. I will say I have bought a lot of things on ebay with very good results. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me this year. Both times they were sellers with less than 5 positive scores in their feedback profile. The rules seem clear enough to me. There are always going to be those who think the rules don't apply to them. Ron
