I've had mine five years now. I hate them, but can't do without them. Mine had to have a extra piece grafted onto the ear bud, so they wouldn't fall out when standing on my head doing something.' Another piece of maintenance on mine is a little filter called a "stot" that fits in the ear bud next to the sound channel. I get about six days out of a set of batteries.
