I own a 2003 GMC1500 sierra Ext cab longbed 4wd. 5.3 engine and 4.10 rearend. Pulls great for what it is. 105K miles.
Drove several new brands of trucks of gas 1/2 tons and 3/4 tons in March 2016 with intention of buying. Found out they were all pretty nice but did not feel any of them were $40k better than the truck I already had.
Decided to spend a few bucks on the truck I have and keep it another decade. I have put all new brake lines and fuel lines on my truck. Had the brake lines done. Bought the pre bent kits for the fuel lines. Al new shocks. New front bumper, New rear bumper
Yeah I spent about $900 on repairs it but I was going to spend $3500 in sales taxes for the privillidge of buying that new $50k truck so it was peanuts in comparison.
