The only reason to ever want one would be for show where the plow was never to see any turning of the ground. When I got my 55 plow it had the hitch part but not the clutch release part and I did not understand how things were supposed to be, this was back in 69, and that hitch imideatly after getting jerked when plow hit something I got the realise like the clutch plow had. And most tractors had too much slop in clutch lever to be able to get one to work. And this was when the tractor and plows were still fairly new.
