A 1989 Toyota! After the old Suzuki I had gave up the ghost, I decided I wanted a side-by-side utility vehicle. For a while I had a '63 Jeep that worked pretty well, but my dad grenaded the motor so again I was without a utility vehicle on the farm.
Around this time (2012), my buddy had just moved back to MD from a stint in MN, and had this little truck sitting at his house untagged--wouldn't pass MD inspection. His HOA was going to impound it, so one day out of the blue it wound up at my farm (I was on vacation at the time), with instructions to "feel free to use it".
And I have! It's towed and hauled around the farm, moved cows, pulled out stuck equipment (it's 2wd, so I did invest in som really aggressive MTs fir the back), and much more! Sure, it's needed some work over the years, and yes, the brakes and OD don't work very well, but for what I needed it for, this little Toyota excels! Best $0 I've ever spent on farm equipment ever.:)
