Like others said, it's what matters to you. My 02' Chevy Silverado w/ 5 speed manual and 150k miles is a Work Truck. Didn't need an 8' bed since I've got one on the '02. Needed rear seats for my 2 dogs, so extended cab was a must. Towing package was another must. Automatic was pretty much a given. New Truck was out of the question $$$-wise. Been watching auctions and bidding on a few, looking at stuff in the $5k-$18k range. Found a very clean, no rust '04 F150 on the street with exact equipment I want and 150k miles for $6k. Works for me.
