Decades ago, before the advent of caller-ID, I got a sales call from a woman who wanted to sell vitamins. She started off by asking me how my day was going and I replied and asked her how her day was going. We talked a little bit and then she started her sales spew. She told me that muscles actually deteriorate after you workout and your body rebuilds them by making them bigger. (That is somewhat true. That's how body builders get so bulked up) I was on a workout program at that time and I agreed with her. She told me that her vitamins cost a couple of hundred dollars for a 30-day supply and I told her that the price was fine with me. After casually talking to her for about 15 minutes and listening to how good her vitamins were, she said that she was going to transfer me to another person to complete by credit card transaction. I then told her that I never had any inclination of ever buying any of her vitamins. There was a 4-5 second pause and then she asked me why I wasn't going to buy any of her vitamins. I told her that if she was going to call me and waste my time, I was going to hang on the phone for as long as it takes to completely waste her time. She then went on a tirade of cuss words that would make a sailor on shore leave jealous. That actually made my day.
