I agree. After ten years in the Marine Corps, I've heard it all, and probably used it all at some point, but I've always felt like something was lacking in me if I was unable to express myself without using profanity.
At a County Commissioner's meeting recently, a member of the public who was on the agenda got a bit heated and cussed a bit while presenting his position. I simply said, "Please watch your language. There are ladies present". It was amazing how the whole environment calmed down.
And I'd bet all of the ladies present had used worse, themselves, at some point in time. But-in a public meeting you need to maintain some level of decorum.
