bought a life time warrentee sewage sump pump from menards, lasted 4 years, i always write date on the tag with marker. called them and asked if i should bring pump in, nope just the cord with the tag on it. told me they dont sell that model any more, well whats the deal with lifetime warentee? well we can give you one of the new models with 5 yr warentee, i said what about lifetime, they said to keep the reciept for the next time. i thought if its 10yrs, how am i going to find reciept, well i put it in a ziplock bag and put in the electrical box by the septic tank, if i can remember what the program was all about.i thing not that many people really remember or keep track of the warentee
