im in a fix, i have a 95 Chevy k2500 4x4, i hate new vehicles for this exact reason, its "broken" and i dont know what to fix, what happened,; it got hot on a trip into town, got it home and found a bad water pump, no problem, i replaced that, and fixed a leaky front seal while i was in there, i did have the battery disconnected while i worked on it, now the thing wont stay running,[ it ran just fine before it got hot] it will start but hard, and it will rev but then it acts like its running out of fuel, it does this every time, so i dont think the fuel pump is bad , or it wouldn't restart, now i found something online describing this exact senerio, they say the "A/C" has lost its memory, to me A/C is the air conditioner and it hasnt worked in 5 years, obviously there is something else under there with that name, now it says to "jump terminals A and B on the ASDL" can anybody tell me just what this is? and if a 95 even has all this? option 2 is im going to rip all this modern crap off the engine put a intake and 4bbl on it like it should have had to begin with , even if i have to throw a aluminum keg in the bed for a fuel tank. all the other trucks on the place are older from a few years to decades, they dont have these problems
