I bought a JD 2440D shortly after my dad's MM 4Star ( that he bought new but was badly worn out ) died while going up a hill with the 3pt shredder on it. Only the right brake worked, and only a little. A pucker moment for sure.
That JD 2440 sure has been expensive to keep going but it sure is handy when it runs!
