I saw a company who retrofitted these Case front axles on other tractors, particularly New Generation Deere tractors. These were touted as very heavy duty and made for using front end loaders. I cannot say we ever had any issues with front ends break apart on our Deere tractors, even those with front end loaders. Back in 1972, I don't know was available out there for front end loaders, but we put WL-40 Westendorf loaders on three different New Generation tractors and never had an issue. That Case front end looks well built. Take a look at the last of the IH tractors (5x88) and their heavy duty front end. I believe that is the front end that was continued for use on the Case IH Magnum tractors.
