I've always done ok with being diversified in my investments. I never put all the eggs in one basket. Although I've never figured on really making money so to speak on a tractor but they do make for a good tax write off. I own a few guns but not for the purpose of making money on them. I own allot of different funds which each one specializes in one particular area, one being gold. I have some individual stocks which I have brought and held which have done ok. Overall my philosophy has done ok over the years for me. I am still putting money away every year even though I've been formally retired from my REAL job for seven years.
