I posted on here a couple of years ago about a fawn following my pup in the house and help him eat his dogfood. Deer and dog grew up and still play play together outside. Every evening, the deer follows dog in and they share a meal out of his bowl. I believe deer thinks it's a dog.
Anyway, a few days ago, the neighbor stops by to talk. Deer comes running off the hill to check him out. He jumps back a says 'What the heck?'. I tell him the story about the deer following dog in the house.
He then asks me...."How do you keep her out of your garden?" I told him that I instructed her to stay out of the garden. He said "Okay, but what about the reast of the deer?".
I told him that I told her to tell the rest of the deer to stay out of my garden. He said "Oh, Okay, that makes sense".
