It doesn't matter if it's a gun or car or tractor or medicine or smart phone or whatever. Stupid, disrespectful, morons will always cause problems. We all joke about the "Here, hold my beer and watch this..." events, but between booze, drugs, mental illness, poor parenting, peer pressure, a lack of moral and ethical standards, etc. this is what you get. The idiot that gives his little girl a smart phone and then weeks alter finds out shes sent necked pics of herself to a "friend" that passed them on to all his buds is just as much a problem as the moron shooting up road signs or the dope that runs through a new planted field with his monster truck or 4 wheeler. We have a nation that seems to thrive on seeing who can hit rock bottom the fastest!!!
