I am a very small operator. I bale square bales of hay and sell them in the winter. This year people have wanted me to haul them. I started charging $1 extra for up to 20 miles and $1.50 for 20 to 60 miles with a 32 bale minimum. Some people act as if I shot them. Am I out of reason? I am charging $3 for my Prairie and $4 for my bermuda. The bales are a good solid weight, and are wire tied.
