I spent around $240 for my adapter plate a couple of years ago. I thought that was reasonable, it also has a drawbar receiver, which is great for backing wagons in the barn and moving trailers around. I have used it with this subsoiler for breaking ground for trenches (we have very rocky ground), and improving drainage in animal pens. I also use it with a landscape rake that works great for raking rocks and finish landscaping. I also use a 6' back blade on it for finish grading and moving snow. I would go stir crazy running a bush hog with it, just too slow of ground speed.
