I can relate... I used to ride my tricycle across the blacktop road and up the long driveway to our neighbor's place. Then I'd "help" the neighbor clean barns and ride with him while he spread manure, just standing there and hanging on to the fender. Tractor had rounding fenders, so you could not sit on them.
When mom finally woke up (she liked to sleep late, Dad was at work, and the big kids were gone to school), she'd go out in our yard and holler, "Gina! Ginnnnaaaaaaaaa!" I'd peddle my trike home fast and furious... and get in trouble for going to the neighbors. Happened repeatedly. LOL
