I used a 7' 2stage snow blower on a 185 Massey (540PTO), and when full throttle in low reverse was good for about a foot of moderately light snow. More than that and you'd have to feather the clutch for a first pass and then take a half pass at a time. I can't imagine using a blower (or rototiller) on something without a 2 (or 3) speed secondary gearbox. IIRC, Oliver/White made some good 'creepers' too.
