I send picture texts quite often. This morning my son called wanting to know the numbers on a hydraulic hose I had in the shop so he could order fittings. I looked at the hose and didn't know which numbers to give him so I took a pic of all the numbers on the hose and sent the pic to him. He then forwarded the pic to the supplier. That supplier didn't carry fittings for Parker hose so I took a pic of the business card for another supplier and sent the pic to him so he would have all of the contact information for this other supplier on the screen of his phone. He was sitting at a hog site at some unknown location but I could get all the information he needed by sending a couple of picture texts.
I also send picture texts to landlords showing them the crops on their land.
On Wednesday I wrote a check to a farm supplier at my kitchen table. He took a picture of the check with his cell phone and texted the picture of the check to the home office to pay the bill. I kept the check I wrote for my records. It sure is a different world today.
