They weren't from Menards, but ended up with some misc. boards several years ago at auction. 2x4's, 2x6's and a 1x6, but just a few of each. My mind went racing at the possibilities of wood that could get wet, wouldn't rot, wouldn't warp, etc. Had thought about putting them down on my old lowboy trailer. Then I read an article about this type of lumber. It said how these boards cannot take the bearing loads of conventional lumber as they have to "grain structure" - they are simply compressed together using heat and pressure.
From my limited experience, they will hold a screw amazingly well, but don't expect the same characteristics as solid wood.
