Got a call Friday from grand daughters husband, they own the building site where my wife and I ran a dairy farm for thirty five years. He said the well pump quit, electric bill had went thru the roof for two months (there was a leak in a remote shed that they didn't notice "kids") that's probably what cooked the pump. Well was drilled in 1976, driller installed pump it was a Flint and Walling don,t know if their still in business. When I was there I had pump pulled a couple times for leaky pipe, pump man made fun of it and called it "flop and wobble" because it was not the brand he sold. That one ran for forty plus years and may have ran longer if not for the leak. Pretty good service. That was a deep well submersible. Pete
