awaiting the gravel for backfilling,,its ordered my 80 year old neighbor buddy got a load of mushroom soil,and wanted me to plow it into his garden patch i got him looking at the tractor site now too,,he asked me for my camera! Thats him,,reaching into his root cellar barrel,he filled it last fall,layers of carrots,potatoes,parsnips,,and some turnips,,straw between each layer,,straw on top,,then put the lid on He is some great guy,,I m cooking some of the vegetables right now ...this neighbor and I have become great friends.All the years I have been going to PA,i never really got to meet him.He was working when I was young,,then later on when I was working and bringing mom there .,I didnt have much time.She had MS,So i had to make sure she was ok,and try to do some repairs etc,Wasnt any time to visit.Now I have a chance to meet this 80 year old neighbor,,he has taught me so much and we are great friends.When he sees me,,he will beep the horn in his truck,,,that means the coffee is on and ready to go.
