Every five years, my brother (who lives about a half mile away from me) has a mountain oyster fry in his tool shed to celebrate his birthday. This is always about the first week in January, so the wood stove feels really nice and two propane cookers help keep the shop at about 75-80 degrees. I bring my TV over, set it up on the balcony, and we set up a broadcast antenna to watch some football games on the tube. Among the neighbors, his shop party gets talked about more than most.
