I have a Jubilee - less displacement and a little older, but basically the same engine. I run 15W40 in it (and all my tractors) year-round. Whatever weight you end up using, you want a diesel-rated oil, since many oils that aren't rated for diesel engines no longer have additives that will protect flat tappet cams and lifters. What, specifically, are you concerned about? Too much pressure? Won't happen. There's a relief valve built into the oil system.
