I bought a Parker Bushwacker it has 300 fps . Great entry level crossbow i paid 399 for it. used it 2 years sold it to a good friend for 200 bucks and he used it one year and he wants to sell it. i think 200 bucks is what he is asking . I bought a Parker Thunderhawk around 325 fps and about 150 pounds of pull. I am very impressed. Shooting a Deer further than 50 yards is pretty tuff with a crossbow or a compound bow. I know everybody knows somebody that can kill one at 100 yards with a bow well i call horse crud on that. What made me limit my crossbow shots to 45 yards is when you pull the trigger you can actually have time to watch the arrow or bolt hit the target unlike a gun which is pretty much instant. For a startled Deer to move suddenly it has to drop down some first. It will hear the shot from the bow. So i have found out for me 45 yards is the perfect distance to always get the kill. Anything past that i think is just luck and stand the chance to not getting a clean ethical shot.

After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
