I'm trying to figure out why these brakes are so stiff and do not return. I've taken them all apart and dont really see anything out of the ordinary. Pads are thick, springs look okay, but then again, I'm new to this. I have the lever in a vise and the plate won't even rotate. Could the actuator be ceased? Any advise is very much appreciated.
Also one side had a sure seal and the other didn't. Is that normal? I don't mind replacing parts but always hate to do so if it's not needed. Thanks in advance!
