The high heels post below reminded me that it's time for my annual reminder to the padies out there about putting your feet up on the dash. When warm weather rolls around I see a lot more bare legs and pink toes up on the dash as cars pass me by. Now I really like a "well turned ankle" as much as the next man, and those painted toes are especially nice, but putting them on the dash while driving is bad news. In most newer cars the air bags can go off with as little as a 5 mph crash. If your feet are up there what would have been a minor inconvenience can quickly become a bad situation. A person I know was killed because her feet were on the dash and her knees were driven into her chest stopping her heart. I've seen the damage done by this and as much as I appreciate the view, I would rather not see the damage. Please pass this on to all your family.
