you are correct it is not 1978 but registered on 6-8-1972,it is a 165 with multi power
the clutch is not slipping but i cannot depress the clutch far enough to engage the pto with the engine running.i do not know if clutch adjustment has already been undertaken and there is no adjustment left thus requiring a new clutch
the repairs are totally beyond my abilities,i love to use the tractor on a sunday morning once a month or so and can't stop smiling or singing whilst going through the brambles and nettles with the flail mower.
hoping a top quality mechanic/fitter with experience of old tractors is out there somewhere in the vale of glamorgan able and willing to do the work for suitable remuneration
