Tom I can see nobody has the answer to this question. I really do not know much on John Deere. There is a book that you should look for on this yesterday tractors that give you all the data on John Deere tractors. Look for the John Deere tractor data book. It is a small book that covers all the two cylinder tractors. Prices for these tractors can be found on the internet, and you might want to try Two Cylinder magazine web site. they give you some ideal what the different is between the two tractors and there prices too. If you want to R.F.D T.V. has a person goes by the name of Machinery Pete find his web site ask him. I would say if you are looking at one right now and want to buy it. What is it worth to you in price. Ask the seller if they will except that price than buy it. If they are hard to find you might have to buy it for the price there asking. Good luck on finding your answer.
