Well doing pretty good here in So. Mn. Got about 2000 small squares baled. Half of them are sold and gone already. Nice not having to put them up in barn. Was cutting more this evening when the old JD 800 swather let me down. Bearing on the drive axle. This is the third one of four that I had to replace over the years. Of course it never fails in the yard. No it has to happen in one of the farthest fields. Got it taken apart and chain put back on. Will pickup new bearing first thing in morning and put it back together. Should be going again by 10:00. This is some real heavy alfalfa. But we are coming into some upper 90s temp so should dry down rather fast even in this humid northland.
