This is my Daddy in his flight suit. He was a WWII B-17 pilot.
In the top small photograph he is front and center with his high school basketball team. Next small one he is on the left with the Ski 130's in Antarctica in 1963, and the last was his business van. He did heat and air as a retirement business when they moved back to the farm in Collins, MO.
Here are he and my mom soon after they were married in Hondo, TX, in 1944.
He left the farm to go to war, then farmed until 1952 when he went to work for Ford Aircraft in KC, MO, then Lockheed Aircraft in Marietta, GA and stayed with them until his retirement in 1983 and he and Mom moved back to the farm.
He died in 2014 at 91 and mom in 2016 at 95. I miss them and think of them every day.
