Hi my name is Nate. I just bought a 1958 john deere 420 and its missing the model and serial number tag. how can i recover the serial number so i can have a new tag made for it? I was told to find the engine block number stamped in the front of the block and i found it and its 1195x dont know if that will help me or not.
