If it is cervical and you have numbness and weakness the doctors might get real serious about it. I would see a neurologist. Iowa city isn't that far away from you. The cervical spinal cord is constructed differently compared to the lumbar spinal cord and can create much more serious consequences if not treated properly. See a real doctor. Do not have it crunched. Google is your friend.
