In a nutshell, this means that the people involved with the event (ie those organizing and participating in it or 2nd parties) will not be covered for legal action that might occur between those individuals. Same thing as the liability on your home insurance, if you slip and fall on your own sidewalk, forget about suing your wife (through your home owner's insurance), it won't happen.
