My Mother had a pair of yellow Finches , in a cage hanging in the kitchen. When she started fixing supper they would raise the dickens until she fed them. The first time I saw that I heard her say what I thought was a swear word. And I never heard her cuss in my life, She called them her "Little sons of Finches". LOL
