I admit the newer terms e.g. UTV or RTV have not entered my vocabulary yet. Around here in the northern tip of the lower peninsula - it is mostly all farmland or woodland. "Side by sides" seem to be the latest craze and many sell for $20,000. Even what I still call an "ATV" or "Quad" tends to be huge now. I want something that weighs 300-400 lbs. and a few people can horse it out of a bog when it gets stuck.
Monster two-seat and larger four-wheelers are everywhere around here. I cannot figure where people get the money to burn for these things. Michigan has relaxed the laws so many are driven along the highways like cars. Not what I want.
On my own land, I still use my 1985 Isuzu mini-truck with diesel and 4WD as my utility vehicle. Not actually suited for rough trails though.
