Saw a tractor I liked and it was priced very reasonable. Ad described it well, called the guy went to look. It needed work which was ok. Guy gave me a better price so I paid him. He had no problem taking a check he had to hold the tractor for over a week till I could pick it up (about 2 hours away). Got there very early loaded it (seemed to get along good with the guy anyway) So he took me over to his main part of his farm showed me his tractors and stuff then we rode around the area looking at farms ,barns etc. Talking about the way it was back when ( I knew the area well) Did not get home till much later but had a good day a made a new friend. He told me he did not need the tractor and wanted to see it go to some one who could respect it. Only other offer was a scrapper at $200 he threw him off the property!!! Most of the time it ends up like the post below.
