Yep at one time years ago a mans word was his bond but not any more. Now days if some one shows up with the cash in hand even if promised to some one else most will sell it right out form under a guy. Last one O got last summer I asked the guy if he would hold it till tomorrow since it was around 8PM. He said he would and I told him hey if you want I will come right over and give you a deposit to make sure it is mine and he told me it was mine and the next day I stop to see him gave him $100 and told him I'd be back in an hour or so with the rest and he said ok it is now my rake tractor. Only payed $300 for it and winched it on the trailer and drove it off
