The JD 535 baler has a hydraulic system to run the mesh wrap system. You need to have all the springs and linkages on the right side working correctly to engage and dis-engage the hydraulic pump for it to work. This is on the baler right by the hydraulic pump not back on the mesh warp attachment. The system is hydraulic and mechanical so I do not know what "switch" you took off and cleaned but a switch will not do you any good on a JD 535.
I will NOT go into setting one in a post. You need to get a manual and check your baler out. The JD 535 baler is very reliable when set right. IF you do not have it set right or have broken springs/linkages it will drive you to drink.
