I will always call and talk with the seller before I go to see an item, and expect the same from someone coming to look at something I put up for sale.
E-mail makes things quick and simple to get the information I need that is often not in the ad.
Some just can not write a decent informative ad to save there life.
Once I have a pretty good idea I am interested in what is being offered for sale I do not mind having what often turns into a half hour conversation about how the crops are doing, what the weather has been like, where are cattle prices going to be this fall etc., followed by 5 minutes to get the directions and another 5 minutes for the history lesson on the item I am going to look at.
When an ad says calls only and I have called for the fifth time guessing when the seller is going to be home I just give up.
